It seems obvious, but perhaps we need to be reminded regularly. Walking or biking to work can not only help the environment and ease traffic congestion; it can also make us healthier. With our country's obesity problem, we should be thinking about how urban areas and alternative transportation approaches can help us live longer, happier and healthier lives.
